Cancer Care of Western North Carolina is an outpatient treatment center offering innovative, effective, and quality standard of care treatment options for people fighting cancer or blood disorders. Established in 1990, the center was incorporated as Cancer Care of Western North Carolina in 1997. In 2010, Cancer Care of WNC, PA was recognized with a QOPI (quality oncology practice initiative) Certification. Less than fifty oncology practices in the United States have received this Certification from ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology). The Certification is based on outstanding quality measures in all areas of the practice.
We welcome you to our practice and look forward to meeting and working with you. We understand the stress which you, as our patient and your family or caregivers are under during this time, and we strive to make your visits as pleasant as possible.
Our approach to the healing process is to help you as a person. Our staff is concerned with your total well-being, not just the state of your disease. From our team of doctors, trained staff, facilities, and services, you’ll find friendly faces, a welcoming environment, and the best treatment available for whatever diagnosis you face.
Our focus on patient comfort is evidenced by our attention to detail in our facilities and surroundings, which were inspired by the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina in which we live. Accented by landscaping and extensive water elements, our patients will find surroundings which are quite different from most hospital or clinic settings.
