Rachel E. Wexler, MSN, FNP-BC

Rachel graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2007 from Queens University in Charlotte. She started her career as an RN in Charlotte, NC at a local hospital on a Medical-Surgical/Oncology floor. She later had an opportunity to join a practice in Hematology-Oncology as an infusion nurse in Charlotte and from there her passion for oncology care and oncology patients grew.

She moved back to Asheville, NC with her husband and joined HOPE Women’s Cancer Center as an Oncology RN where her love and dedication to her oncology patients continued. During her time there she decided to pursue graduate school at Western Carolina University. In 2016, she graduated with her Masters in Nursing as an Family Nurse Practitioner. She is an Asheville native and lives here with her husband and two boys, Jack and Sawyer. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and being a mother to her boys.

Memberships: Oncology Nursing Society, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, National League for Nursing, American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Rachel joined CCWNC in 2016 as a nurse practitioner working with Dr. Michael Messino.
