Kylie Franklin, FNP-C

Kylie Franklin, FNP-C returns to CCWNC to support the breast medical oncology team at the Hope location.  Kylie has 16 years of nursing experience with 10 years as a nurse practitioner.  Kylie brings multiple years of experience in oncology to the team as well.  Her initial experience in oncology began in 2003 as a nurse on the Oncology Progressive Care Unit at Mission Hospital, followed by 2 years with Madison Home Care and Hospice, and the subsequent 5 years as a chemotherapy nurse at CCWNC.  She completed her MSN and FNP at East Tennessee State in December 2008.  She worked as a triage nurse practitioner for CCWNC for one year and due to personal reasons transitioned to a primary care position with the Hot Springs Health Program.  While with the Hot Springs Health Program, Kylie gained experience in long term care and as a primary provider for patients in a rural community.  She also continued to work with hospice patients through Madison Hospice as part of her role.  Kylie has elected to return to oncology full time where she will focus on providing care for breast cancer patients.  She is dedicated to providing the best patient care possible through listening to, and building a rapport with, patients and families.  Her commitment to quality, evidenced based care, fostering open lines of communication between all members of the health care team, and her oncology experience will be an asset to our team.

In her free time, Kylie enjoys spending time on her miniature farm, especially gardening, baking, and canning.  She is also starting a new adventure raising standard poodles.
