Gregory Pollack, MD

Dr. Gregory Pollack moved to Western North Caroling and joined the Cancer Care of WNC, PA staff in August of 2009.

After graduating from the University Of Florida College Of Medicine, he moved to Salt Lake City for his internship and residency at the University of Utah where he served as the Chief Medical Resident for a year. Following this, he moved to the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah for his fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Pollack and his wife enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling. He also enjoys spending time and running with his puppy dogs, Willie and Sadie, as well as participating in national marathons.

Memberships:  American Society of Hematology (ASH); American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

Positions:  Director Infusion Center Operations, SECU Cancer Center; Sickle Cell Transition Committee

Sub-Specialty:  Dr. Pollack has a special interest in hematological malignancies (Acute/Chronic leukemia, Myeloma, Lymphoma), coagulation defects and non-malignant hematological disease states.  He provides care to patients in Asheville and Brevard.
